Yamim Noraim

Ra’anana  August  2025 – AV תשפ"ה

SEAT RESERVATION FOR YAMIM NORAIM 5786
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Dear Members,

Another inspiring and challenging year as a community has passed and we are starting to plan for the upcoming Yamim Noraim.

Submitting your seat application and payment as early as possible will allow us to start coordinating seating plans, which is an enormous task. This year we have a new and easy registration and payment process in place.

As every year, we are pleased to offer the following minyanim over the Yamim Noraim period:

(i) Main Shul Minyan - Shivtei’s flagship minyan, with leading ba’alei tefilla, including Colin Schachat and sons, and Matthew Fisher. They will be joined over Rosh Hashana by Rafi Sandler and friends (from Kippalive) leading special featured items of communal singing.  The Etz Chaim Choir will accompany Colin and Matthew for Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur Mussaf.

(ii) Shul Hall Minyan - As in previous years, the davening in the shul hall, aimed at adults and older children, will be Bnei Akiva style with various communal participatory tunes.

(iii) Late Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur HaShkama – (no haskama on RH) Late Kol Nidrei (starting approx. 30mins after the main shul finishes - 8:45pm) in the main shul.
YK Haskama 6.00am start in the Library.

(iv) Family Minyan (at Hayovel School) - Starting at 8.45am, the Family Minyan offers a space where people should feel comfortable to come as a family with their young children to daven. The tefila will be Bnei Akiva style, with communal participation. On the School campus (Rechov Keren Hayesod) a few different children's services will be held.

(v) Youth Minyan (at Beit Hanoar) - There will be a full set of Youth Minyanim over the Yamim Noraim, taking place at Beit Hanoar on Achuza 157. We request that no adults daven in the Youth Minyan, other than the Ba’alei Tefillah and adult organisers (all adult members should book seats in the minyanim provided for them).

Please note:
- Guests accompanying members pay members' rates
- Mas Chaver participants pay youth member rates
- Priority on seating allocation is given to members

Please book and pay for your seats using the following link https://www.shivtei.com/yamim-noraim-sign-up-2025/

Please note that seats are only guaranteed once payment is received.

After completing the registration form, you will have a payment link redirecting you to the payment section.

There are a limited number of seats for men and women in each minyan. Spouses do not need to select the same minyan as each other. Parents and children of current shul Members pay as Members. 'Youth' are those in Kita Zayin and above. Seats for Youth are only available for members, those who have paid Mas Chaver, or out-of-towners visiting members.

Book your seat(s) early in order to avoid disappointment.
(if you have a soldier in the family and are not yet sure if they will need a seat, please add a note on your reservation with their name)

Please also note that details regarding membership renewal for 2026 will be sent at the start of December 2025.

If you need assistance, clarification of any of the above, please contact Sarie in the Shul Office by email ([email protected]), WhatsApp (058-515-1691) or phone (09-774-1842).
If you need any confidential financial assistance, please contact Joshua Rudolph by phone (054-8393161) or email ([email protected])

For those of you who would like to add a gift to the “Uniquely Blessed” Annual Campaign, there will be a place online as you order your seats.  We are asking every member to consider an additional donation to support expanded adult and youth programming, as well as our overall growth - and we thank you in advance for this consideration.

We recognize there is a great deal of information in this email, and we appreciate your patience and hope to welcome you in one of our minyanim.

Wishing you all a healthy and blessed 5786.
